Albert Lanternier Limoges Chocolate Pot # 27312

This is an Alfred Lanternier Limoges Hand Painted Chocolate Pot from about 1911. The pot is a cream matte color with a yellow and purple floral design with green leaves and raised gold outlines on the flowers. The pot has some beaded shaping in the porcelain and an attached spout with ridged shaping and gold trim that is slightly worn, but not very noticable on the cream background. The porcelain is slightly shaped and twisted to the left. It comes with a matching lid with a flower shaped handle.

The pot measures 4.50 inches across and about 4.50 inches deep. It is 8 3/8 inches to the top of the scalloped rim and 9 7/8 inches to the top of the flower shaped handle on the lid.

The details in this pot are what make it so unique and such a lovely family treasure. The shaping in the porcelain, the scalloped rim, the lovely, attached spout, the hand painted flowers outlined in raised gold and the long shapely handle plus that flower shaped handle. There is so much to enjoy here, and I have included many pictures, as it is truly a unique piece.

The pot has no chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage. The inside is clean and stain free with no signs of use.
